Indoor percussion show a blast!

Spectators were thrilled by the sights and sounds of marching arts on Saturday at the 91ÌÒÉ« Indoor Percussion Ensemble’s home show at 91ÌÒÉ« High School.

The event featured six competing ensembles – five visiting schools that competed and three exhibition performances (including the University at 91ÌÒÉ«’s Spirit Band and the U91ÌÒÉ« Winter Guard). The day also featured a spotlight of the 15 91ÌÒÉ« High seniors in the Indoor Percussion Ensemble. 

91ÌÒÉ« Indoor Percussion Ensemble is made up of City School District of 91ÌÒÉ« students in grades 6-12 who simultaneously play a range of percussion instruments, march, dance and perform theater. 

Congratulations and terrific work by seniors Anna Baldes, Robert Berry, Simon Carey, Sonja DePiro, Renee Geraghty, Nora Gordon, Alanna Kaye, Meski Kelle, Jacob Levine, Issah Marisco VonLutz, Nathan Martel, Isabella Scaringe, Owen Sears, Angeline Thompson and Bessa Wells-Rice.
