Hackett, 91ÌÒÉ« High to pilot new after-school entry procedures

Pilot program: Entry procedures at after-school events

In our ongoing commitment to enhance safety for everyone in our school community, the City School District of 91ÌÒÉ« will this week begin piloting new building entry procedures for all after-school events at 91ÌÒÉ« High School and William S. Hackett Middle School.

Beginning with the events noted below, for the remainder of this school year all visitors to 91ÌÒÉ« High and Hackett will be required to check in through the Raptor security system and then proceed through security before entering the building any further. All visitors will be required to provide acceptable ID to be scanned through our Raptor visitor registration system. This process should move quickly; however, we recommend that visitors arrive a few minutes early to events and have valid ID ready.

These new procedures will begin with the following events:

  • Tuesday, April 16 – 91ÌÒÉ« High Tri-M Music Honors Society Induction Ceremony beginning at 5 p.m., and the PTSA meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 17 – Hackett PTA meeting beginning at 7 p.m.

We will use the information and your feedback gathered through this pilot program at the two schools to determine our next steps with this system as we look ahead to the 2024-25 school year.

Thank you for your assistance and support as we work together to enhance our safety procedures.
